Its really pretty simple. Simply hit the “Submit Your Listing” button or link. Some people seem to be having an issue with the submit button after filling out the information, so try this First, USE THE TEXT LINK ON LEFT SIDE, NOT THE BLUE BUTTONS…then….once you click on “Submit Your Listing” and the new page opens, hit your browser refresh button a couple of times, then fill in your information on the form .(reason is we have a chache installed)

Just put in the name of your listing, this is the name as it will show up in the directory list.

Next choose the category you want it to go in. Sometimes you’re listings will work in more than one category. If this is the case choose the most relevant, then when we review them we’ll add to additional categories as needed.

Now add your email. Yes this is required, but it is not shared with no one and we don’t do mailing list, its primarily to keep the spam bots away.

Now the important part..”Long Business Description”. This is where you need to catch people’s attention. So be short but be very descriptive about you and your services to capture your future clients and customers.

Next you add in the link to your site or business. You must include “http://www.ursite.com” (dont forget the http: part)

Now you hit the submit button.

You will be taken to a new page so you can add images about your site. This is important also, because we cannot go back and add them for you. Make sure its simple and easy to see when its the thumbnail sized on the main pages. People will see the full size image once they click your listing.

Thats it. We’ll review your submission and as long as its relevant will approve it and add it in the ADPD List.

Below is some tips and idea’s for using ADPD List;

1. Come back and edit your listing or add another listing when your running promo’s or specials. Editing your listing for specials and such makes it look like your always adding or changing content, wich is one thing search engines and potential customers are always looking for. Plus the fresher you keep your content of your listing, and keep your tags updated the more often youll show up in the search’s.
2. Make sure you use an eye catching image with your listing. Something that catches someone’s eye if they just happen to be cruising thru the listings could be that little part that sets you apart from the rest.
3. Write an article about your listing here at ADPD and add a link to your listing. Its almost like bragging rights. Add it to your blogs, websites and even your facebook.
4. Be sure to use the www.adplist.com link in twitter a lot. Remember your not just promoting the site, your promoting yourself more than anything. The more people that visit then the more chances you have at being found.
5. While its not required to give us a link back, we did create a page with some links and buttons you can use if you wish. Remember the more people that come here, the more traffic you get.
6. Write an article just talking about ADPD and what it does and offers. You would be surprised at how many people will become your friends and potential customers and clients because you took the time to write about your community and what all it does to help everyone. Share the knowledge and share the wealth.
7. Get involved with ADPD, in the near future we’re going to have featured list as well as stanadard listings, and definitely those that are involved or a part of this community will get some lime light time to share.
